The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) is the leading advocate for the veterinary profession in the U.S., representing more than 105,000 members. Additionally, the AVMA offers accreditation and certification programs to maintain and elevate the standards of veterinary care. The Arizona Veterinary Medical Association (AzVMA) comprises over 3,000 veterinary professionals and more than 150 Allied Industry Members representing the veterinary business community. AzVMA also supports the Veterinary Health Care Team of Arizona (VHCTAz), a professional group with over 1,300 members that includes all veterinary staff. The association offers a comprehensive continuing education program, featuring over 20 meetings annually for both veterinarians and staff, an annual state conference, and wellness programs. AzVMA serves as a valuable resource for its members, publishing newsletters for AzVMA, Allied Industry, VHCTAz, and Wellness.
