The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the highest standards for veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we willingly meet stringent standards and are regularly evaluated against more than 900 criteria. We’re proud to be part of the elite 15% of veterinary hospitals in our community that have achieved this prestigious recognition.
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) is the leading advocate for the veterinary profession in the U.S., representing more than 105,000 members. The association is dedicated to protecting, promoting, and advancing the interests of veterinarians and their clients. It develops policies on crucial issues, supports the profession, and enhances veterinarians' ability to provide essential services. Additionally, the AVMA offers accreditation and certification programs to maintain and elevate the standards of veterinary care. Through its initiatives, the AVMA also raises public awareness about the vital and varied roles veterinarians play in advancing both animal and human health.
The Arizona Veterinary Medical Association (AzVMA) comprises over 3,000 veterinary professionals and more than 150 Allied Industry Members representing the veterinary business community. AzVMA also supports the Veterinary Health Care Team of Arizona (VHCTAz), a professional group with over 1,300 members that includes all veterinary staff. The association offers a comprehensive continuing education program, featuring over 20 meetings annually for both veterinarians and staff, an annual state conference, and wellness programs. AzVMA serves as a valuable resource for its members, publishing newsletters for AzVMA, Allied Industry, VHCTAz, and Wellness.
