Beanna Martinez - Veterinary Assistant

My name is Beanna Martinez. This field is definitely not easy so I can say one of my biggest achievements is buckling down and being a proud technician for 3 years. 

I came into this field not knowing much besides a little dog training. Since I was a little girl I told everyone I was going to work with animals and I did just that. 

Helping educate owners on how to keep our fur babies alive and comfortable for a little longer is my biggest motivation. Our patients can't speak for themselves, we are their voices!

I am still accomplishing new things everyday, but one that I am humble about is handling animals that are deemed "aggressive". I help the owner understand why their animal is being the way they are and help move forward to prevent being so nervous or anxious. Again these guys don't have a voice of their own, us helping them communicate is the best part. 

My biggest goal in this field is to educate and help change animals lives for the better, even if they hate me for it! 

I truly love what I do and every animal I encounter. I wouldn't change it for the world.
